About

My name is Avery Valenciano and I am currently a senior working towards my B.S. in Cellular Biology and Physiology. In the Forest Park Project I work to identify the bones found in the owl pellets created by the two great horned owls we study that reside in the park! We are working to identify their diets and movement patterns to compare their data to owls found in more rural habitats. By comparing the owls of different habitats (urban vs. rural) we can identify any differences, and focus on differences related to urbanization.
