Forest Park Living Lab featured in the news

Female three-toed box turtle Gronau explores its Forest Park habitat. Forest Park Living Lab researchers study turtle movement by attaching a small radio-tracking tag to the turtle’s upper shell.

The Forest Park Living Lab was recently featured in a story by local news outlet, FOX 2 NOW. The story featured summaries of our research and photos of wildlife in Forest Park, including some of the species we are currently tracking and some of the species we plan to track in the future. Several of our scientists were also interviewed for a TV story, including Stephen Blake (SLU), Sharon Deem (STL Zoo), and Jeff Meshach (World Bird Sanctuary). Read the story here and check out the video here! The story was also picked up by MSN.
