FPLL participates in One Health, Earth Day fairs.

What did you do for Earth Day? Students, veterinarians, and other scientists from the Forest Park Living Lab participated in two fairs designed to increase awareness and action for wildlife, conservation, and scientific research.

The One Health Fair, hosted by the Institute for Conservation Medicine at the St. Louis Zoo, featured booths and educational activities related to the connections between the health of humans, animals, and the environment. Visitors learned about topics such as “biodiversity” and even got cool swag for visiting all of the booths!

We also participated in the Earth Day Festival, held near the Muny in Forest Park. Visitors to the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center booth learned about various research projects, including the Forest Park Living Lab! We had radio telemetry equipment, GPS tags, and other demo items available for visitors to discover.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by one or both events!
