My name is Saima Farook and I’m a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience! In the Forest Park project I am working on tracking the movement and hibernation patterns of box turtles at the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center as well as in Forest Park. We are doing this primarily to understand how these movement patterns are influenced by the differences in a suburban versus urban environment.
